What you don’t know can hurt you

It is critical to choose the right inspector for one of the most important
emotional decisions and financial investments that you will ever make. Welcome! I am Janette Foley, the owner/inspector of
Mountain High Home Inspections. I built my first home from the ground up in 1985 (see FAQ page) and have been involved with
building projects ever since. I received my professional training at Inspection Training Associates (ITA), one of the nation’s premier accredited inspection schools. In addition to the ITA training, I have
nearly two years of Electrical Engineering course work to further support the evaluation of your property. Mountain High Home
Inspections also offers radon gas inspections. I am radon measurement trained through the Center for Environmental Research
& Technology, Inc. (CERTI)

As a member in good standing of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI), I am committed to the NACHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. Beyond meeting NACHI’s stringent
qualification requirements, I have also passed the proctored National Home Inspection Exam.
How I Can Help You
My motto “What you don’t know can
hurt you” is meant to be taken seriously. Secure your investment by knowing exactly what you are purchasing.
Defects ignored or missed now can cost you major headaches in the years to come. Let me help you ensure that your investment
is really a dream come true. My inspections enable you to take control of your real estate transaction by helping you:
- Identify potential problems
- Survey the home's condition
- Consider possible
repairs and upgrades
- Take measure of your investment decision
- Experience confidence and peace of mind about your investment
and any negotiations.
I am Impartial and Work
For You
Home inspections are my only business. I am impartial and work only for you. My job is to provide
you with a comprehensive, fair, independent, objective evaluation so that you can understand and take care of your valuable
investment. Your interests are my interests before, during, and after the inspection.
What To Expect
The inspection provides an invaluable learning and discovery experience during which your questions can be
answered on the spot. You will gain insight into maintenance and energy conservation tailored specifically to your home. I
wholeheartedly encourage you to accompany me during the inspection. In addition, all of my clients are offered free telephone
consultation after the inspection.
I understand that the home buying process can be complicated and time consuming.
That’s why I offer weekend appointments for your convenience.
